We urge our clients to arrive 15 minutes prior your scheduled departure time and check in with our driver or dispatcher. Boarding is by order of arrival. A reservation number will be required in any of the following forms:
  • A printout of an electronic confirmations email.
  • By showing your email confirmation on your phone.
  • Also a confirmation number with picture identification would be appropriate.
Special instructions for Newton Passengers: Be sure to check in with the dispatcher inside the counter.
Our pricing are competitive and ranges in line with the competitors. Prices are subject to change without notice.
All of our buses are equipped with Wi-Fi and power plugs.
  • Wi-Fi - we do not advise downloading large files or streaming movies or videos, this will slow down the internet for yourself as well as the other passengers.
  • Outlets - are standard 110-volt plug-ins for items such as laptops, iPods, cell phone chargers and portable DVD players. We ask that you do not plug in anything that requires more than a 110-volt outlet.
When accompanied by an adult, children under two (2) years of age, who are not occupying a seat, do not need a ticket. Children must be in an adults lap at all times, and only one child per adults lap is permitted. All children over the age of two will need to reserve a seat, at regular price and must remain in the seat at all times. If you are using a child safety seat, you will also need to purchase a ticket to reserve that seat. To ensure that your Childs seat is secure, it is your responsibility to secure the child with strapping or webbing that is approved by the child seat manufacturing and that your supply.
There is ample parking available at Anderson regional transportation center, Newton and Cambridge locations.

A lot of parking spots where you can have your cars overnight are at all the three stations, Anderson, Newton Riverside Station and Cambridge Alewife Station. It is imperative that you allow enough time to find a parking spot, and park your car in order to arrive at the departure point 15 minutes before set off. As you enter the parking lot there will be an attendant to whom you will pay for the length of your stay. Day and overnight parking is available. Every passenger is allowed one piece of luggage on the bus. The second luggage of fifty pounds will be charged 15 dollars. The carry-on bags must be small to fit under the seat or in our overhead racks. Labeling or luggage tagging on all pieces of luggage is recommended. Confirm all your luggage is loaded to the trunk before you take your sit. Have receipt with you for yourself and luggage. Bicycle is regarded as luggage. It will be stored underneath the bus in our luggage bays as long as it fits. In case of limited room, an option bus in the same direction will be arranged for you and your luggage.
Once ticket is sold it is not refundable. A difference in price of the current price and the then price will be met by the customer. However, this alternative applies only in the same direction of service required. When you miss a bus trip, test out for a next one and upon availability you will have an opportunity to a seat.
Please call immediately you realize loss of something. Our customer service will do all it takes to locate the item. Once establish you will be contacted to repossess it. After one month it will be donated to a charity organization.

Horizon Bus line will do their very best to provide both these services on every single bus trip. However, there are times that due to operational reasons that Horizon bus line may not be able to supply these amenities on your trip. We keep these instances at a minimum and if it occurs, it is a last resort. Horizon Bus line will not provide a credit or refund for these instances.
